![Rainbow Six Siege]()
Coming into E3, very few of us (both gamer and press alike) expected to see anything from the
Rainbow Six series. Sure, there were whispers here and there, but not enough that we could have predicted
Rainbow Six Siege or how fantastic it would look. In fact, even in the wake of
Far Cry 4,
Assassin’s Creed Unity and the like,
Rainbow Six Siege was easily one of the strongest reveals of any press conference, nevermind the
Ubisoft Press Conference.
Unfortunately for us, there’s a rather obnoxious trend of demonstrating scripted multiplayer experiences as though we, the gamers, wouldn’t notice or would so vehemently believe what we were watching. Granted, unscripted play is harder to execute, but it’s also worth a lot more to those who are actually going to be purchasing the game. And that was the case for
Rainbow Six Siege. It looked great, but not in a million years has anyone had such a coordinated or cooperative team (at least not outside of the competitive realm). Luckily for us, Gametrailers has scored some off-screen footage of people actually playing
Rainbow Six Siege. We’ll let the video speak for itself, but the offence and defence approach certainly has us interested. Besides, it looks like a blast.
