![Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and Uncharted 4 release dates announced]()
You know that old saying that when it rains, it pours? Well, that pretty much sums up the coming 6 months for the world of gaming. The number of incredible, long awaited games being released during the upcoming months is staggering, and everybody has at least one title that they can't wait to play. Whether its
Fallout 4,
Mirror's Edge Catalyst or one of the new Tom Clancy games, there is something for almost any taste. It doesn't even matter if you are a PC or console gamer. There is enough to go around! And now Square Enix have announced the release date for another AAA game of theirs and to top this off, Playstation have announced
Uncharted 4's release date, and yes both of these games fall in the first quarter of next year.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, sequel to the incredible
Human Revolution, featuring technologically enhanced badass Adam Jensen is set to release on 23 February 2016 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. This comes after they announced special "Stretch goals", where special features will be unlocked if the community as a whole pre-orders large numbers of the games. There are 4 tiers that will be unlocked as more people pre-order the game, with each tier having rewards such as audio samplers, digital comic books and a bonus mission. The top tier is even an earlier release date, although 4 days early is a little underwhelming considering it's the final stretch goal. Pre-orders for the Collector's Edition are also now open. Square Enix gave fans the choice of what this should include, and here are is what they decided on:
- a 48-page ‘Titan’ Art Book
- a 9″ Adam Jensen figurine
- a limited edition steelbook,
- Day 1 Edition of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
Uncharted 4, the latest in the series that follows the adventures of Nathan Drake, has also had an official release date announced. Exclusive to the PlayStation 4, this game has already seen its fair share of trouble when the first 30 seconds of the
gameplay reveal at E3 ended up being anticlimactic with Nathan just standing on screen doing nothing. Since that moment though, we have not looked back and any fan of the treasure hunter can finally mark off on their calendar which day to conveniently be absent from work or school. We did an
article a little while ago on the Special Edition, and it really didn't strike any notes with us. It seems like Sony have noticed the reception from the fans and have now announced a couple of incredible new pre-order options that definitely beat the old package. If you have forgotten what that includes, here is what you can get in the Special Edition:
- Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Blu-ray Disc
- Collectible Steelbook case designed by Alexander “That Kid Who Draws” Iaccarino
- 48-page hardcover art book by Dark Horse and Naughty Dog
- Naughty Dog & Pirate Sigil sticker sheet
- Naughty Dog Points: A pack of in-game currency to unlock various multiplayer content

Alongside the Special Edition, we now have the chance to buy the Collector's Edition. On top of the items above, here is a look at the box of goodies you will get for a pretty hefty $119.99:
- A 12″ premium Nathan Drake statue by Gentle Giant
- Three multiplayer outfits: Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Heist Drake, and Desert Drake outfits
- Two custom weapon skins: Golden Weapon Skin and Desert Weapon Skin
- Henry Avery Sigil ball cap
- Madagascar Sidekick outfits
![uncharted 4 ce]()
If you don't have the cash for either of the above options or you just are excited about the game itself, the Standard Plus pack may be more up your alley. Here it is:
· Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Blu-Ray Disc
· Heist Drake Multiplayer Skin
· Snow Weapon Multiplayer Skin
· Reversible inlay with alternate artwork
Regardless of which option you choose, any pre-order comes with the Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune outfit multiplayer customization, the Golden Weapon customization, and a pack of Naughty Dog Points.
Also, where you order could also score you some cool customisations
- Pre-order at GameStop to receive the Multiplayer Booster Pack to instantly unlock a variety of one-time use multiplayer boosts, and The Phurba Dagger Taunt based on the iconic symbol from Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.
- Pre-order at Amazon to receive the Snow Camo weapon customization and the Desert Drake outfit multiplayer customization.
- Pre-order via PlayStation Store to receive the Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Dynamic Theme and the Desert Weapon customization.
Unfortunately, as with
Batman: Arkham Knight, it seems like to get all of the added features you are going to have to buy multiple copies of the game, which kinda seems redundant. It would be nice if they could make one all-encompassing edition where you could get everything for one price. But hey, this isn't the first time we have seen game companies get a little over eager to try and milk some extra cash from players.
Pre-orders are currently open for
