EA’s indie game, Unravel, has some impressive looking gameplay

This week all we've been reporting on is E3. It's been a bit of a roller coaster but one of my favourite announcements was that of Unravel. Unravel is an indie that was showcased by EA at it's conference on Monday that doesn't only come with stunning visuals, but it's also a story with heart. It was a huge surprise, as it really departs from the kind of games we've come to expect from EA. All we saw at the briefing was a small trailer with a few words from Martin Sahlin, the creative director over at Coldwood Interactive, the Swedish studio behind the game and its main character, Yarny. There wasn't any gameplay at the reveal, but we finally got to see a live demo today. It's played on a PS4 and it looks amazing. Martin talks some more about his game and reveals that they're a tiny team of 14. Unravel is a puzzle platformer but also strives to tell stories throughout each level as you play.
