![Game Critics Awards - Best of E3 (2014) - Smash Bros.]()
Every year, prior to E3,the show floor is opened to a number of critics in order to get some hassle-free hands-on time with the games of the show. For a week, following said time, they get to openly criticise and put down their thoughts, all in the name of deciding what looked the best in a number of categories. What follows that deliberation and debate is a gathering of journalists and a vote on everything they saw. This is the Game Critics Awards - Best of E3 2014:

Having had some hands-on time with
Evolve, we can definitely see why it took home the coveted "Best of Show" award. It's not only a breath of fresh air but offers solid gameplay and scrumptious visuals. Beyond that, having
previously shocked us with how immense it plans to be, we're not at all surprised that
No Man's Sky took the indie gaming award. We'd also much prefer
The Witcher 3 to take top RPG spot, but we can't have everything our way; as such, there are some awards we agree with and others we do not. Should you disagree, however, let us know in the comments below. For example, was their anything in particular that jumped out at you?
